Environmental, economic and social sustainability is at the heart of the campus development.

We will create lots of green space, with a focus on improvements to the river and harbour edges.

The University of Bristol has a commitment to becoming carbon neutral by 2030.

The campus will be car-free, apart from disabled access and there will be new public walking, cycling and bus routes links to the site.

We will avoid waste and inconvenience in the short term while we are building, and make a positive contribution to the environment, economy and community over the long term.
