Food boxes

There are two types of food box for students in self-catered accommodation:

  1. Meat food box
  2. Vegan food box

The vegan box is also suitable for Halal and Kosher diets.

If you have any specific dietary needs, tell us when you order your box.

Meat food box contents

Each box will provide enough food to make 3 meals a day for 7 days.

The contents will enable you to make up easy meals similar to the following with minimal effort:

Breakfast

  • Porridge/cereal selection
  • Toast and jam (mixed flavours)

Meals

  • Macaroni pasta with cheesy sauce
  • Jalfrezi curry and rice x 2
  • Pesto pasta x 2
  • Beef ravoli
  • Roasted veg cous cous with BBQ glaze
  • Heinz soup x 2
  • Branston beans on toast x 2
  • Tuna mayo sweetcorn sandwich
  • Kabuto noodle pot x 2

Snacks

  • Cadbury brunch bars
  • Cadbury chocolate fingers
  • Piper's crisps x 5

Drinks

  • Milk (1 litre)
  • Orange juice (1 litre)

Lunch

  • Baxters mediterranean tomato soup x 2
  • Beans on toast x 2
  • Baxters vegetable soup x 1
  • Naked noodle pot x 2

Evening meals

  • Chilli pesto pasta x 2
  • Roast vegetable cous cous x 2
  • Chinese hoi sin rice x 1
  • Tomato pasta penne with sweetcorn x 2

Drinks

  • Alpro milk x 1 litre carton
  • Juice x 1 litre carton
