KnowHow - Embracing diversity

February is LGBT+ History Month - a month-long annual observance of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender history, and the history of the gay rights and related civil rights movements. What better time to remind ourselves of the importance of equality and diversity in the workplace and how essential this is for improving the University’s working environment, and enabling both staff and students to flourish.

These short articles will help refresh your memory on the benefits of an inclusive work environment, and give you some tips on how you can contribute to this:

Diversity and Inclusion Overview
To introduce the topic of diversity and inclusion this article covers the basics including the need for diversity, whose responsibility diversity, inclusion and equality is and the benefits of valuing and embracing diversity for an organisation as a whole.

Tips for Creating an Inclusive Culture
