Inaugural Learning and Teaching Conference: “Back to the Future: Drawing from experience to inspire innovation”
Graduate School of Education, 35 Berkeley Square, Bristol, BS8 1JA
We are pleased to announce the Inaugural Learning and Teaching Conference for the Faculty of Social Sciences and Law.
Our Faculty is full of staff innovating in learning and teaching, in all schools and in all areas; from programme and unit design to assessment strategies, feedback, student engagement and extra-curricular activities. Colleagues are thinking deeply about using technology in the classroom, making better use of Blackboard, the future of teaching space and designing classrooms to enhance learning.
Our broad theme, ‘Back to the Future: Drawing from experience to inspire innovation’ recognises that good practice and innovation in the field of learning and teaching results from reflection on our and others’ experiences, whether positive or negative. The aim of the conference is to promote good practice and inspire learning and teaching development. The intention is to encourage a sense of criticality and to learn from one another through the promulgation of ideas, tips and techniques.
