It has been decided that while transmission in the wider population remains high there will be no change to how we operate Swim School at this time. We ask that you please continue to adhere to the following guidelines:
- Wear a face covering when inside University buildings.
- Keep to 2m social distancing when in the Richmond Building.
- Wait outside of the pool in the designated Swim School waiting area.
- Only one parent to attend with Swim School participant.
- Children should arrive "beach ready" for their session (swimwear under clothes to change poolside).
Full details of COVID policies in place at the Pool are available on our Swimming webpage.
University of Bristol Tennis
Students and staff are strongly encouraged to complete two lateral flow tests each week. Do not come to Coombe Dingle if you are displaying COVID symptoms.
- You must book in advance; this applies to casual court hire and coaching / camps.
- Face coverings are required when moving through the tennis centre.
- Spectators are permitted on site.
- Toilets and changing rooms are open and will be cleaned twice a day.
Parents of children booked on to camps in July and August will receive more information about COVID guidelines before each camp start date.

We are please to be able to confirm that, following the Government announcement on 12 July, we will be making changes in our facilities. We would like to take this opportunity to thank our community for their patience whilst we have had to operate under COVID-secure procedures. We are glad that it is now safe for us to remove many of the restrictions and return to a more "normal" experience with us.
Changes at all facilities
- Wearing face coverings in indoor spaces will be expected, except when undertaking activity.
- Changing facilities will re-open across our sites.
- One-way systems in our buildings will be removed.
- Hand sanitiser will continue to be provided for our users and we highly recommend use when entering and exiting our facilities.
