Politics Lunchtime Discussion
Alexandre Holroyd, Député (La République En Marche!)
Emmanuel Macron was elected on a pro-European platform at a moment when euroskepticism was a challenge across Europe. His willingness to reform the EU, alongside other European partners, is a high priority for his administration. Ensuring a better integrated eurozone, a fulfilled single market and a truly democratic Union are pressing issues. Mr. Holroyd will address the issues faced by France and its partners in the EU.
Mr Holroyd is a member of the French National Assembly (NA), representing the third constituency for French residents overseas. In the NA he sits on the Finance Commission, is a member of the European Affairs Commission and is also President of the Franco-British parliamentary friendship group.
