We are pleased to have Dr Anna Szorenyi, Lecturer in Gender Studies and Social analysis at the University of Adelaide, speaking on
‘Saving Victims, Closing Borders: Refugees, trafficking and grievable life’
Dr Anna Szorenyi has a PhD from the Centre for Women's Studies and Gender Research at Monash University and attended the 2001 School of Criticism and Theory at Cornell University. Before coming to Adelaide she taught Gender Studies at Monash and Deakin Universities. She researches in feminist ethics and global migration, with particular interests in refugee issues and trafficking.
