Patrice Ladwig (Hamburg University) will present a talk entitled 'Buddhist asceticism and the dark side of perfection: Lottery numbers, fame and the demands of laypeople among Lao and Thai forest monks' from 4.30 to 6pm on Tuesday 24 May as part of 'Considering Perfection' - the fiftieth anniversary of the University of Bristol’s Department of Religion and Theology lecture series.
