Dr Giacomo Ferranti is a QETLabs research associate specialising on continuous-variables integrated quantum photonics. He joined the QE-CDT as a temporary lecturer in May 2021, and his responsibilities include the assessment of units and the organisation of events like the internal cross-cohort conference. 

Dr Siddarth Joshi is an expert on quantum communication and works with quantum networks as well as satellite-based quantum communication and fundamental tests of quantum physics. He also works on quantum metrology and implementing protocols beyond just QKD. He joined the CDT as a temporary lecturer in June 2021 and his responsibilities include quantum systems engineering, and the group/individual projects.
