Dr Hannah Sallis and Dr Robyn Wootton, attended the annual conference for the World Congress of Psychiatric Genetics (WCPG) in Anaheim

On 27th October, TARG post-doctoral researchers, Dr Hannah Sallis and Dr Robyn Wootton, attended the annual conference for the World Congress of Psychiatric Genetics (WCPG) in Anaheim. Hannah co-chaired a symposium on ‘Polygenic Analyses of Childhood Psychopathology in Large Population Based Samples Provide Insight Into Persistence of Symptoms and the Effects of the (Early) Environment’ and presented work on a recent phenome-wide association study of substance use and mental health. Robyn presented her work on the effect of cigarette smoking on multiple psychiatric outcomes using Mendelian randomisation.

The conference success was celebrated with a stop off in Vegas on the way home!
