I am Language Teaching Associate in Italian. I design and deliver language units for ab-initio and post-A level students from firstyear. I teach Italian oral classes to second year students and finalists.
In July 2018, I was awarded a PhD in Italian Studies by the University of Bristol. The research I carried out for my doctoral thesis looked at the relationship between theatre and protest movements in contemporary Italy. I completed my MA in Modern Languages (English, Spanish and French) at the University of Siena. After graduating, I was awarded a fellowship in the USA to teach Italian language to undergraduate students at Vassar College (NY).
I have worked as a Language Tutor at Bristol University since 2014. My main research interests include: Italian cultural studies, political theatre, protest movements, the role of role of theatre in language learning and teaching, intercultural competence, and politics of language teaching.
