Research interests
My current research interests focused on intelligent quantum entanglement distribution for quantum key distribution networks based on artificial intelligence. The intelligent quantum entanglement distribution aims to learn the bottleneck of underlying optical infrastructure, distributes the entangled photon pairs, and assigns network resources. It not only realises the quantum communication between two parties but also optimises the quantum network utilisation.
Another research topic I am currently involving in is optical network abstraction. Optical network abstraction enables a unified view of different optical networks, thus being able to provide a uniform solution for orchestrating services in multi-domain optical networks. Apart from that, my research also includes globally optical network resources (time, space and frequency) management, intelligent and autonomous power management/adjustment ROADM and optical amplifiers, algorithms design for optical network resource optimisation.
