Biography
For the last 20 years my primary field of research has been the religious history of Australia and settler colonies in the British Empire. Before coming to Bristol, I taught for 25 years at the University of Newcastle in New South Wales. My first field of expertise was in medieval cultural and religious history.

I am happy to supervise postgraduates in the fields of imperial religious history, histories of settler colonialism and topics in religious history more widely.
