My research seeks to improve our understanding in the decision-making process of venture capital organizations and entrepreneurial firms and to explain how their relationships with their investors affect the venture capitalists' investment decisions.
Using large-sample empirical research and field-based case studies, I construct theoretical models that examine the restrictions, compensation schemes, dynamics and incentive structures in venture capital markets.
My focus is on identifying the control mechanisms employed and the determinants of their investment behaviour.
