Biography
I studied medicine at Bristol University from 1999-2005 and qualified as a General Practitioner in 2016. I am currently funded by the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) as an Academic Clinical Lecturer. I spend 3 days a week at the University doing research and teaching and 2 days a week as an NHS General Practitioner.
My research uses a mixture of qualitative and quantitative methods to answer questions about when doctors should use blood tests, how they should interpret results, and how to share information about tests with patients. My recent work has focussed on the use of blood tests called inflammatory markers.
