Research interests
My research interests are in the area of soft robotics applied to implantable devices, hydrostatic skeleton inspired structures, grasping, tactile sensing.
I am now working on the RoboVox project, financed by Wellcome Trust. The aim of the project is to design an implantable artificial larynx. I am working with Prof. Jonathan Rossiter and Dr Andy Conn. The RoboVox project is a cooperation between the University of Bristol and UCL, London.
Previously, I worked on the characterisation of the bioinspired sensor Tactip as a force sensor and on the modification of its hardware design.
