I joined the University of Bristol as a Lecturer in Social Entrepreneurship in 2021. I earned a Ph.D. in Management from the University of Edinburgh in 2020 and was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Public Management at the University of Edinburgh Business School (2020-2021). My research is situated in the changing landscape of public service delivery where hybrid organisations, such as social enterprises, have emerged. My research explores whether and how social enterprises could enact a resilient approach to achieving social and economic goals despite the challenges caused by internal hybrid organising and external policy environments. Following my postdoc research on value (co-)creation in public service production, I also look at contingent approaches to resilient public services during a period of crisis.
