Research interests
My research interests lie in the application of the behavioural and social sciences to health care research, especially considerations of social justice in health care design and delivery and education of health professionals. I have been involved in a diverse range of applied health care research projects, mainly around migrant health and health inequalities, health literacy and evaluation of health care services focusing on the methodological implications of using psychosocial outcomes in economic evaluation. I also have experience in teaching nursing and medical undergraduage and postgraduate students psychological and sociological approaches to health and health care.
