Twitter is an increasingly important platform for building your reputation, finding collaborators and discovering what other people are doing.This online course is for people who already have a Twitter account but maybe haven’t made the most of it yet. It will teach you:
  • The basics of setting up and managing your Twitter account
  • How to find people tweeting on things that interest you
  • How to improve your follower numbers
  • How to reach more ‘influencers’ when you tweet
  • How to make the most of Twitter’s functionality like lists and moments
The course will include hands on exercises and will be hosted on Zoom.

About the trainer

This course is taught by Zoe Trinder-Widdess, Communications Manager at NIHR ARC West and the NIHR Bristol Biomedical Research Centre (BRC). Zoe is a communications professional with a strong track record of working in several sectors, including charity, public sector and business-to-business. She has been working at the intersection of health and research for the last eight years.
