As well as places to worship in the Chaplaincy and across the University, we have some other facilities you can take advantage of.
The common room is a space for you to sit, chat, socialise or study while enjoying our Fairtrade tea and coffee.
Come to the quiet room to sit, pray, meditate, or take some time to reflect and relax in the middle of a busy day.
The Anne Spencer Reading Room
Take advantage of our small theological library, thanks to a generous grant from the Alumni Association. It’s a great place to study and is also used for various society meetings.
The Activity Room
This is a popular space for society events, you can also play pool on our own pool table.
The Kitchen Garden
We’ve built a Kitchen Garden using raised beds to provide veg and herbs for our Soup lunches. You can get involved with planting, growing, harvesting and cooking the produce. There’s also some picnic tables so you can enjoy working, or relaxing in the fresh air.
Meet a Chaplain
There are also spaces where you can meet a Chaplain in confidence. There is always a Chaplain on duty during our opening hours. You can talk to them about anything on a drop-in basis. Or if you prefer, you can make an appointment by contacting us.
Reflection Room- Senate House
Come to the quiet room to sit, pray, meditate, or take some time to reflect and relax in the middle of a busy day. You can find this room on the 4th floor of Senate House, where the SU Living Room is. The address is: Tyndall Avenue Bristol BS8 1TH
