The Chaplaincy building, at 1 Woodland Road, has a number of different rooms that are open to members of the university between 11am-5pm, Monday to Friday.
These rooms can also be privately booked out during the evening and at the weekend. If you are interested in booking out one of our rooms or the whole building, please read our Booking Policy (PDF, 556kB) and User Guide (PDF, 502kB). To make a booking enquiry, please send us an email: firstname.lastname@example.org .
We are sorry to announce that, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are unable to offer group bookings for the Autumn term.
The common room is a space for you to sit, chat, socialise or study while enjoying our Fairtrade tea and coffee.
Feel free to use our free and fish free kitchen to cook your lunch. There will always be a pout of tea and coffee on, help yourself!
Come to the quiet room to sit, pray, meditate, or take some time to reflect and relax in the middle of a busy day.
Anne Spencer Reading Room
Take advantage of our small theological library, thanks to a generous grant from the Alumni Association. It’s a great place to study and is also used for various society meetings.
This is a popular space for society events.
