There are many ways to keep in touch with the activities of the Law School and with fellow graduates. We have many social events to keep those friendships and networks alive and, as a top ten Law School, there is always plenty to share about our latest research, our academics and student achievements.
Standing up for Justice: Law Clinic Launch
Celebrate 21 years of the University of Bristol Law Clinic by joining us on Wednesday 8 November as we mark National ProBono week and formally launch our new offices at 8-10 Berkeley Square.
Thinking About Thinking
Find out from high achieving graduates how changing the way you think will significantly improve academic results, increase employment prospects and maintain well-being. A panel event including a broadcast journalist, a gold Olympic medal winner, a solo Pacific rower, a GB squad cyclist - and a world-renowned metacognitive psychologist.
Best of Bristol Alumni Weekend
14-16 July 2017: Save the date: This year the Alumni Weekend will kick off this year on Friday 14 July, with events taking place through to Sunday. A tour of the new facilities at 8-10 Berkeley Square is planned for the afternoon of Saturday 15th. If you are interested in taking part please contact the alumni events team.
03-14 April 2017: Join fellow alumni in Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysia at a series of events hosted by Professor Joanne Conaghan, Head of the Law School, and our Alumni Liaison Officer, Dr Ardavan Arzandeh. More details to follow.
Santiago de Chile: alumni get together
17.03.17. Alumni are warmly invited to a drinks and networking get-together with University of Bristol academic, Dr Diego Acosta Arcarazo. The event will be held at Plaza El Bosque San Sebastian, in the centre of the city, from 6-8pm.
Reigniting the passion
05.11.15: Under the banner 'Reigniting the Passion' and in the presence of distinguished guest the Chancellor, Baroness Hale, law graduates stretching from the 1960s to the present day, together with current Law School staff and student representatives met for a convivial, sell-out, dinner at the Athenaeum Club, London.
Inside an Impressive Mind
A panel of prize-winning Law School alumni who excelled here academically and in their early careers gathered to deconstruct what tutors and employers consider makes an impressive mind. Topics ranged from tips on how to approach essay and exam questions, boost critical thinking, building confidence through developing good oral communication skills, preparing for interviews, and the importance of mental and physical wellbeing.
