Patient and public involvement and engagement

Patient and public involvement and engagement (PPIE) is at the heart of our programme. Our Patient and Public Advisory Group of people with lived experience of cancer provides valuable insight into our research. It provides guidance to our researchers on PPIE and helps with explaining our work to those outside our field.

We also talk with the public about our research through a range of public engagement activities and we support Cancer Research UK in demonstrating the impact of funding research into cancer.
