New large grant from the US National Institute of Health to study mechanisms in Developmental Overnutrition

Debbie Lawlor (PI), together with other colleagues at the MRC Integrated Epidemiology Unit and School of Social and Community Medicine, University of Bristol (Caroline Relton, Kate Tilling, Sue Ring, Mika Ala-Korpela, Matt Suderman, Abi Fraser and George Davey Smith), from Bradford Institute of Health Research (John Wight),The University of Glasgow (Scott Nelson and Naveed Sattar) and Pittsburg University (Janet Catov), has been awarded $US 2,3300,865 from the United States National Institutes of Health (NIH): National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases to examine Metabolomic and Epigenomic Mechanisms in Developmental Overnutrition. This work will contribute to Debbie & Caroline's MRC IEU programmes.
