Ways into History
1 December 2014
The History Department's new public engagement project provides an opportunity to start studying history at the University.
The Department is launching a new evening course, designed to help fans of history explore their options for further study. 'Ways Into History' will run from early February 2015. Students will explore the history of slavery, with a particular focus on the role of slavery in Bristol's history. No qualifications are necessary, and the course will help you develop skills in reading historical sources, seminar discussion, and essay writing. Having completed the course, students can apply for a place on the BA or MA in History, or the Foundation Year in Arts and Humanities. More details and an application form can be found on the course webpage.
