This report presents the findings of research into the views and experiences of Child Support Agency (CSA) staff and clients following the series of reforms to the CSA scheme and system in March 2003. Focus groups and in depth interviews were conducted with over 50 administrative and management grade staff between March and April of 2004 in each CSA Business Unit in the UK. Depth interviews with approximately 60 clients of the CSA took place between May and September 2004. The main focus of this research was to explore both staff and clients' awareness of the reforms and understanding of the new scheme and to consider their experiences to date.
