Professor Roy McConkey is a leading international figure in disability research. In 2015 he was awarded an OBE for services to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. He will talk about developments in research over the course of his career, the future of disability research and how to make a difference through the impact of research.
Doors open from 5.15 pm for registration. The seminar will begin at 6.00 pm followed by a Q&A session at 7.00 pm.
