Film lecturer voted Best of Bristol by students

Dr Pete Falconer, Lecturer in Film, has been chosen by students as one of the most inspiring teachers in the University. As such, he will deliver a public talk as part of the Best of Bristol series, an accessible showcase of the University's most outstanding teachers. Pete's lecture, entitled 'What makes a good film?', takes place in the Great Hall of the Wills Memorial Building on 5th March, starting at 1.10pm. In this talk, Pete will discuss a host of issues relating to the evaluation of films, reflecting on his own experiences as a critic, teacher, scholar and enthusiast.
