New impact figures for the journal Ethnicities have been released. According to the Journal Citation Report, Ethnicities, edited at the Centre for Ethnicity and Citizenship, has improved its standing significantly.

Ethnicities is now ranked 4th in its category, Ethnic Studies, up one position. It has achieved a substantial increase of its impact factor: 0.898 (up from 0.652).

Now in its fourth year as an ISI rated journal Ethnicities is a fully peer reviewed journal with an impressive international reputation and focus, published by SAGE. As a genuinely cross-disciplinary journal centred on sociology and politics, Ethnicities provides the very best critical, interdisciplinary dialogue on questions of ethnicity, nationalism and related issues such as identity politics and minority rights.
