Applications are currently open for 2022
Think Big, our flagship scholarship scheme for international students, is now open for 2022/23 applications. Six scholarships of £5,000 are available, which must be used towards the cost of tuition fees for a one-year master's programme in the School of Education.
Who can apply?
You can apply if you are classed as an overseas student for fees purposes and you have applied to start on the following qualifying MSc programmes in September 2022:
- MSc Education
- MSc Education: Inclusive Education
- MSc Education: Leadership and Policy
- MSc Education: Learning, Technology and Society
- MSc Education: Mathematics Education
- MSc Education: Neuroscience and Education
- MSc Education: Policy and International Development
- MSc Education: Teaching and Learning
- MSc Educational Research
- MSc Psychology of Education BPS
- MSc Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages
Application process

The application process is the same for all University of Bristol international scholarships so the terms and conditions are the same too. Read the terms and conditions before applying.
Assessment process
Successful applicants in round one will be contacted on or before 6 May 2022. Unsuccessful applicants will be notified shortly after.
Successful applicants in round two will be contacted on or before 8 July 2022. Unsuccessful applicants will be notified shortly after.
Deadline
There are two application rounds for this scholarship:
Round one deadline: 10am (UK time) 28 March 2022.
Round two deadline: 10am (UK time) 13 June 2022.
Further details
If you apply for this scholarship, you will also automatically be considered for the Think Big postgraduate scholarship. You do not need to submit two separate applications.
