Film and television

Looking for the ideal location? We can give you exclusive access to an impressive portfolio of buildings and grounds here at the University - from cutting-edge laboratories to 18th century architecture, and everything in between.

We don't just help you find somewhere that looks the part. We understand the industry and can anticipate the detail that you need us to know. Whether it's availability of power or the most practical location to base the crew - we have worked with  productions of all sizes and can work with you to make the location the least of your worries.

And being a University, we have the added bonus of also being able to offer overnight accommodation for cast and crew (during the summer months only), and a catering team that are used to feeding several thousand people every day.  We've included some of our venues on these pages to give you a taster, but with everything you'd expect from a University (lecture theatres, halls of residence, auditoriums) to everything you wouldn't (a working farm, a shell-encrusted grotto, a chapel) it's always best to contact us for a chat to see if we can help. The chances are, we can.
