Conference CD
A CD will be produced of the presentations and posters. We believe
that there will be significant benefits to delegates in issuing
the CD at the conference. We therefore require electronic versions
to be submitted in advance by 12th September at the latest. PDF
format is preferred. Microsoft PowerPoint or Word files may also
be submitted. We will convert them to PDF, but cannot be responsible
for any problems arising in conversion. Presentations should be
submitted by email to aero-comptest@bristol.ac.uk File names should
start with the surname of the corresponding author followed by the
paper reference number. If the file is too large to email, contact
us for alternative submission procedures.
It is also planned to put the presentations and posters on the
conference website after the conference, with unrestricted access.
Please indicate at the time of submission if you do not want your
presentation on the website.
Oral Presentations
PDF files of presentations will be loaded onto the conference centre
computer, and no further action is required if you are happy to
use this format.
If you want to use additional features of PowerPoint, you will
need to provide a PPT file in PC format, preferably at the same
time as sending the PDF file. If necessary, files can be loaded
on site from CD, Floppy or USB memory stick. We regret that Macintosh
files cannot be accepted.
Poster Presentations
Marler Hayley display boards will be provided, 880 mm high, by
600 mm wide, large enough for A1 size posters in portrait format
(841 x 594 mm). Sticky Velcro tape for mounting posters will be
provided.
Special Issue of Composites Part A
Authors who have been invited to prepare a manuscript for the special
issue of Composites Part A should consult the journal website for
details of the paper format: http://ees.elsevier.com/compositesa
Papers should be submitted before the conference using the online
system on the journal website. You will need to register first.
Please select "CompTest conference paper" for the article
type and include the paper reference number when asked to enter
comments. Request Michael Wisnom as Editor.
