Embodied Mind Cluster News: Visiting Fellow, Dr Jeppe Jensen

Esther Eidinow and Bella Sandwell’s Faculty of Arts sponsored Embodied Mind Cluster has been awarded a Faculty of Arts Visiting Fellowship to bring Jeppe Sinding Jensen, Senior Lecturer in the Department of the Study of Religion and co-founder of "Religion, Cognition and Culture" (http://rcc.au.dk/) research unit at the University of Aarhus, to Bristol in June 2018 (June18th-20th).
During his time as a Visiting Fellow at the University of Bristol, Dr. Jensen will engage with staff and postgraduate students interested in applying cognitive science to the study of the arts and humanities. Through a number of events, he will share with us what he has learnt from his nearly thirty years of experience of work applying cognitive approaches to the study of religion. The theme of his visit will be metacognition, the theory of thinking about thinking. Further details of the programme of events will follow.
