Stefan Hasselblad has been working with mentally and physically handicapped children for 25 years and as a special needs teacher for the past 20 years. He has been using the Soundbeam with its spatial sensors for 5 years and employing the theories of early learning from the Danish educationalist, Lillie Nielsen. Within CARESS, he is applying the Sound Therapy methodology in both special needs and mainstream school settings, with the purpose of evaluating the Sound Therapy methodology and its transferability (from one nation to another), as well as conducting trials of the new technology and developing curriculum materials.
