Paul Masri and Nishan Canagarajah
Dr Nishan Canagarajah is a senior lecturer in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the University of Bristol and is also supervisor for the Digital Music Research Group. He brings to CARESS his expertise in signal processing, audio and psychoacoustics. His role in CARESS is to oversee the technical development.
Dr Paul Masri is a senior researcher at the Digital Music Research Group. He is a graduate in Electronic Engineering and gained his PhD at the University of Bristol in computer-based modelling of sound for synthesis and transformation. He is developing the new technology for the CARESS project, including the new wearable sensors, the wireless link, and the 'fluid sound control' software element. He is also responsible for the creation and maintenance of this web-site.
