4 November 2010

Natasha is joining the department as a Marie Curie Research Fellow for the next two years to work in Daniel Robert's research group.

Natasha is joining the department as a Marie Curie Research Fellow for the next two years to work in Daniel Robert's research group.  She will be investigating the biomechanics of insect ears. Insects experience a complex acoustic world and must process this information in order to appropriately respond to it. This project is aimed at studying the biophysics of the different structural modifications which are observed in insects ears, which allow acoustic signal processing directly at this peripheral input stage.
