Beth Clare is joining the department as a Visiting Fellow for the next two years to work in Marc Holderied's research group. She will be constructing and investigating molecular food webs for insectivorous bats. Beth completed her Ph.D at the University of Guelph in Canada focusing on Molecular Evolution, Biodiversity and Speciation of Neotropical bats. She has also conducted research on cryptic host specificity of vertebrate ecto-parasites and theoretical and computational modelling of reproductive isolation and speciation.
