BILT's Educational Enhancement Funds build upon the previously available University Teaching Fellowships and University Teaching Development Grants.
The purpose of these funds is to:
- draw in educational expertise from across the university to deliver major educational research and scholarly work within the University’s educational priorities;
- make small-scale individual funding available to encourage teaching and learning innovations within units and programmes;
- encourage the formation of sustainable disciplinary communities and networks aimed at educational enhancement;
- make individual Fellowships available for staff who have a well-defined educational research plan.
Funds are awarded via an open application process and the scheme is managed by Bristol Institute for Learning and Teaching. Information about our current grandholders can be found here.
Applications for 2018 are now closed and will reopen for 2019 in January. Find out further details about the range of funding opportunities here.
