PhD student Elizabeth Robles to give AAH paper

History of Art postgraduate research student, Elizabeth Robles, will be presenting a research paper at the 40th Anniversary Annual Association of Art Historians conference being held at the Royal College of Art in London in April 2014. The title of her paper is 'The 'Laura Ashley Look': Re-Presenting Victoriana in the work of Yinka Shonibare'.

The paper stems from research for Lizzie's doctoral thesis on the subject of Disruptive Aesthetics: Black British Art since the 1980s. Congratulations Lizzie!
