Dr Gemma Blackshaw from University of Plymouth to give talk on 'Facing the Modern: the Portrait in Vienna 1900'
Dr Gemma Blackshaw (Plymouth; Curator of Facing the Modern) will give us a lunchtime talk entitled 'Facing the Modern: the Portrait in Vienna 1900' on WEDNESDAY 13 NOVEMBER (NEXT WEEK) at 13.00-13.50 in Lecture Theatre 1 at 3-5 Woodland Road. All staff and students welcome!
Gemma will be talking about the research and processes involved in curating her major exhibition of Viennese portraits at the National Gallery, London. This Research Seminar, which is rescheduled from Monday 9 December, is in association with the Transnational Modernisms Research Cluster.
