Images from the Royal West of England Academy's recent show, 'Remembering Exhibitions', curated by students from the University of Bristol's MA in History of Art: Histories and Interpretations, have been posted on flickr.

Over a three month period earlier this year students from the University worked with the RWA, researching from the permanent collection as part of a collaborative curatorial module. This culminated in an exhibition exploring the RWA’s 'collective exhibition history'.

The exhibition examined art and its documentation, retracing the past and exploring the concept of absence and memory. It focused on works from the permanent collection to bring the Academy’s exhibition history to life, using archival objects including catalogues and show posters to address not just what we remember, but how we remember.

Photographs from the exhibition can be seen on flickr at http://www.flickr.com/photos/halide_art/sets/72157633794193843/
