Two MA graduates win prestigious curational traineeships at National Gallery, London
Two recent graduates from the MA in History of Art, Philippa Stephenson and Henrietta Ward, have won prestigious curatorial traineeships at the National Gallery, London. The scheme is run in association with the Art Fund, and involves six months' training and development at the National Gallery, followed by 18 months at a regional gallery, working on an exhibition of under-researched paintings and sculpture.
Philippa Stephenson will be based at the Laing Gallery, Newcastle Upon Tyne, while Henrietta Ward will work on a little-known collection of C17th Dutch and Flemish paintings at Manchester City Galleries.
