History of Art announces new British Art Research Cluster

Professor Elizabeth Prettejohn is leading the British Art Research Cluster (BARC)

The British Art Research Cluster (BARC) led by Professor Elizabeth Prettejohn was founded in spring 2010 to consolidate existing research strengths in British art at the University of Bristol.

Its formal inauguration will take place on Monday, 8 November 2010 with a paper given by Professor Mark Hallett of the University of York entitled 'Making a Reputation: Joshua Reynolds in the 1750s'.
