Upward trajectory of NSS scores in ArchAnth
30 September 2016
In this year's National Student Survey, final-year undergraduate students in the Department rated their degree programmes with 97 per cent overall satisfaction. This continues a strong upward trajectory from previous years (from 76% in 2014 and 88% in 2015). Our students rated teaching on their programmes at 95 per cent, with 97 per cent stating that their course is intellectually stimulating.
We're delighted that in addition to students stating our teaching is interesting and enthusiastic (94%) that our programmes equip students with transferable skills for their careers: 90 per cent of students agreed that their course helped them tackle unfamiliar problems. Students on the BA Archaeology and the BA Archaeology & Anthropology programmes completed the NSS, and next year our first cohort of BA Anthropology students will complete their programmes.
