Erasmus students

The Accommodation Office are here to help you find somewhere to live if you are coming to study at Bristol as part of the University’s Erasmus programme.

University-allocated accommodation for 2022/23

Erasmus students are not guaranteed a place in University-allocated accommodation. You are welcome to apply online for University accommodation through the Accommodation Portal from March 2022.

Register your details on the Accommodation Portal

To register for the portal, you will need to have a University of Bristol student number. When you have firmly accept your offer of study, you will be sent an email by admissions which will include your University student number.

You will then need to confirm your details by verifying your University student number and email address. This will allow you to proceed to making your application.

Private sector accommodation

As Erasmus students are not guaranteed University-allocated accommodation, we advise Erasmus students to start looking for private rented accommodation as soon as possible. We recommend that you take a look through our finding private accommodation pages and our Erasmus accommodation factsheet (PDF) and our Finding Accommodation factsheet (PDF). We strongly advise that you do not pay for any accommodation from overseas unless you are 100% certain that the arrangement is genuine, due to the risk of fraud.
