What makes the Global Community a special place to live?
When you come to University, your flatmates often become your closest friends. Common interests will be considered when allocating residents to flats in the Global Community but additionally, your flat will consist of a culturally diverse makeup of residents. Living amongst UK students and international students from many different countries means that you will have an opportunity to make friends from around the world whilst learning about other cultures first hand. In the Global Community, you’ll enhance your ability to communicate across cultures and you’ll experience the food, language, music, and perspectives of different people each and every day. Social events such as world holiday celebrations, nation-themed parties, and day-trips to sites of interest in the UK will make living in the Global Residence fun and interactive.
