North Wales (Snowdonia)

The sun always shines in South Wales. This could explain why it never shines in North Wales?

Friday night was spent in flooded tents (with some Terra-Novean exceptions), getting slapped in the face by fly sheets dipping to the sound of gusts of wind comparable in volume to express trains.

Saturday was spent in the Beacon climbing wall, Llanberis. Most notable point of the day has to go to Spen who began a mass traverse of the entire centre - loosing the masses on route he managed to get round one and a half times before realiseing that bouldering shouldn't require that much stamina...

The weather cleared in the evening for a couple of hours, and the UBMC explored bus stop quarry...

...before spending the night in a rapidly-aquired bunk house. For those who weren't there - the wind was strong enough to break the latch on the door!

Sunday's entertainment was found gear shopping at outside before an early return home. There's always next time!
