Sugar Loaf (Abergavenny), Saturday 27 September
“A mountain walk in Wales”
This walk is now full up. Sorry! There's still space on the Bradford-Bath walk on Sunday; there's more mountains coming up later in our term programme.
Our taster walks this year:
- Sugar Loaf, Sat 27 Sep
- Bradford-Bath, Sun 28 Sep
- Cheddar-Wells, Sat 4 Oct
- Waterfalls, Sun 5 Oct
We meet outside Temple Meads railway station at 8:20. You pay only the cost of your train ticket — should be less than £10.
This walk is full. Please sign up to rhodri@explorersclub.co.uk This gives us an idea how many people to expect and we can e-mail you back if there are any changes to the walk or meeting time.
You will need: money for train ticket, bottle of water, packed lunch, jacket. Normal shoes are fine for this walk. Depending on time and interest there may be an optional stop at a Fish & Chip shop in Avergavenny on the way back.
David has some photos from a previous walk.
Information about all our walks is sent out every week on our mailing list - usually on Monday evening. Interested? Let us know on secretary@explorersclub.co.uk and we'll add you for free. When you join the club, we'll add you under the address you provided.
