"Stay fit and healthy and enjoy some great experiences all at once"

The Duke of Edinburgh society is not all about hiking boots and rain. While our main aim is to help participants complete their awards at various levels, we aim to have a great time along the way. Additional social events such as meals out and the team work aspect of expeditions and training provide ample opportuinity for socialising with like minded people. The skills, activities and expeditions can be your choice and are a great way to meet new people and improve vital life skills. Last years forays included the Brecon Beacons, The Yorkshire Dales, The Lake District and The Mendips, providing an excellent way to get away from city life for the weekend. You're probably doing lots of activitities already and the Duke of Edinburgh Award is a way to gain credit for this, plus it looks great on anyones CV!

We meet alternative monday's in the Union, check the diary for more details. Please come along and join in.
