Devon Weekend6th-7th March 2010We had a nice early start for the trip down to East Yarde, near Barnstaple. We were coppicing the banks of the Tarka Trail , which is a lovely 180 mile cycle trail across the west county. We were removing the trees to allow sunlight onto the banks so a lovely range of wild flowers can emerge and take over the banks this spring, since it has become overgrown since is was constructed in the early 1990�s.
